I rode public transportation back to the airport in Boston with many yoga teachers who had been there for a YJ conference going on at the Sheraton. This cartoon reminds me a bit about the conversations I heard, which were about the details about how they liked or disliked candles being used in the yoga sessions, whether the mood in the workshops did anything for them, bla bla, nonstop chatter about yoga. It made me smile and I wanted to tell them that the reason my bag weighed almost 25 pounds was because there was a yoga mat inside. But I just smiled.

I think I do not mind people paying too much attention to the superficial things in yoga, I just do not like when they judge you based on whether you use candles or some such. And I really like your attitude towards yoga - very no-nonsense! :)
The cartoon really made me smile. I know I haven't been commenting much, but I do so enjoy reading your posts. Once this present work madness dims, I'll write comments again.
