Played with my camera a little. As a result, went to bed late. Hobbies are detrimental for ashtanga practice!
Here what I came up with. Composition-wise could have been better, but I think the technique is interesting - I was using a small key-chain laser to get the "shining from within" effect. What do you think?

Great effect! What lens are you using? Maybe if you used a light dome or white card with light reflected off of it to create an ambient light it would give a bit of an overall warmer glow?
(Tell me about hobbies/social life being detrimental to ashtanga practice!:P)
Thank you, Portside! I use Canon 24-70 F2.8, I believe (do not remember exactly). I was doing a project for a friend, but then decided to play a little with the laser and here we go. I did not like the picture too much (dark, flowers in the bizarre arrangement, and so on), but liked the effect of glow. Thank you for the suggestions, I will work on it more, I think.
Did you have a good practice today?
You could always think of it as a goth/victorian piece of artwork. Although, you don't strike me as the goth type. ;)Would love to see how you push the concept of playing with the laser.
Yes, thanks! You?
Really good practice. :)
I can be goth! I am just too lazy to express it outside.
that is absolutely stunning!!
Thank you, Rayna! :)
hi Alfia, it's interesting; it speaks for itself. should the exposure time be lengthened? it appears like an underwater shot.
